01. 학연화대합설 Hak-Yeonhwadae Hapseol
말 그대로 학무와 연화대가 하나로 합쳐져 구성된 무용이며, 중요무형문화재 제40호로 지정된 궁중정재이다. 정재에서 학과 연꽃은 깊은 연관을 가지며 이 때문에 학무와 연화대는 통상 연결되어 있다.
학무는 학이 연꽃을 쪼면 그 속에서 두 여자아이가 나오고, 학이 놀라 뒤로 물러섰다가 퇴장하면 이어서 다른 무용수들이 등장해서 연꽃에서 나온 아이와 함께 연화대를 연행하게 된다. 기본적으로 임금을 송축하고 임금의 은덕에 감사하는 내용을 그린 춤이다.
반주음악은 학무의 경우 현악영산회상 중에서 세령산, 타령 등이 연주되고, 연화대의 경우 관악영산회상 계열의 음악들이 사용된다.

Designated as Important Intangible Cultural Property No. 40, this court dance is a combination of Hangmu (Crane Dance) and Yeonhwadae as the title indicates.
Since cranes and lotuses are intertwined in court dances, Hangmu and Yeonhwadae are naturally linked. In Hangmu, a crane pecks at a lotus flower, whereupon two girls emerge, scaring the crane away. Then the other dancers appear and perform Yeonhwadae with the two girls.
This dance was performed in praise of the king and in gratitude for his virtues. Hangmu is accompanied by Seryeongsan and Taryeong from the suite String Yeongsanhoesang, and Yeonhwadae by Wind Yeongsanhoesang.
