[Traditional Korean Performance Story Ep.5 살풀이(Salpuri)]

Korean Exorcism Dance, 살풀이 Salpuri(Lee Mae Bang Style) was performed by Park Da-in(박다인), a member of Artists of KCHF(Korea Cultural Heritage Foundation).

Dance movements of drawing numerous lines with a long towel on each hand, it’s believed as one of Korean shamanic dance. This style of Salpuri is believed as a shamanic dance to express woman’s deep sorrow.
